Well 'pat',
If I or anyone else wanted to find out personal information, we could do it unless you're on an anonymous ISP using masked IP's and several other security measures and even then, it could still be done. If you log onto the internet, you are having to trust somebody (from your isp to each and every website you visit). I guess if you don't want to use your real name, then so be it. When I don't use my real name, I use an alias that doesn't look like an alias.

I guess treatment of American Indians can be considered a current political topic, as can slavery and British actions in South Africa and India, as well as our actions in Vietnam. The point I tried to make was that this is a history site and I'm trying to steer (doesn't mean I'll succeed) the discussion onto history. It all threads together, so its a futile effort.

Yes, the movie was made recently, but I don't attribute broad political statements to the filmmakers beyond what they were trying to explore about family. The rest can be considered historical fiction following the stock hero vs. villain plotline, rather than a political statement about the American Revolution. original content and design Copyright © 1999-2019; Scott Cummings, All Rights Reserved.
