was like more then any other movie that weekend.

Actually, it made $40 million in its first 5 days or something like that.
It opened on a Wednesday. The Perfect Storm opened the same weekend on that
Friday and over the weekend, The Perfect Storm made $40 million to The Patriot's
$20 million.
The Perfect Storm ended up outgrossing The Patriot, but considering The Patriot
was blasted by the movie critics and had an R rating, so all the little kiddies
couldn't go watch it, it did pretty well.

oh nuts, but you know it did get a peoples choice nomination and i think
that a lot o people really liked it, it's to bad the critics were so mean
about it. they have bad taste. everyone i've talked to has liked it except
one girl who only saw part of it.
it still did make a lot of money though and think it did pretty well!
