Jae Lee's family owns the Seoul Gateway Hotel where Jin works as the doorman. Jae Lee is set up with Sun. After several enjoyable meetings, Jae Lee disappoints Sun by confiding in her that he met an American woman while going to school at Harvard and intends to marry her. Prior to one of his meetings with Sun, Jae Lee asks Jin for his flower. He then asks Jin for his name so he can address his thanks.
