Jason is arrested for an assault and his fingerprints match those at the crime scene where Ana Lucia was shot. He confesses to the shooting, but Ana Lucia doesn't I.D. him and he's released. Sometime later, Ana Lucia follows him out of a bar and shoots him six times.
