Craig Parker was born on November 12, 1970 in Suva, Fiji. Before his role as Haldir in The Lord of the Rings, Craig Parker was most well-known as Guy Warner in the New Zealand television series, Shortland Street. He has been in various several other New Zealand television series including Gloss, 2 People, Mercy Peak and Scared Scriptless. He's guest-starred many times in shows such as Xena: Warrior Princess and Young Hercules. He has also done celebrity comedy debates in Wellington, with fellow stars such as Oliver Driver and the late Kevin Smith.
