You can't single the British out on that one. All of Europe has adopted socialism and even our government here in America is heading that way. We seem to be trying to adopt their way of government rather than the other way around.
I don't agree with it and apparently neither do you, but I'm not sure where
the modern politics comments come from. King George hasn't defended his country's
current politics (yet), but been discussing and making some concessions about
its past politics.
