2/8/09: The catalyst is gone. It was lost when Arthur was killed. From Behind the Eclipse Week 11 CBR Article
2/8/09: There will be two "significant" female deaths with one being permanent and the other not so much From Ausiello
2/8/09: According to Bryan Fuller, "We'll find out what happens when you have a superbaby." From Ausiello [Fuller had left after the first season to work on Pushing Daisies]
2/8/09: According to Bryan Fuller, who returned to the production starting with episode 319, the mythology of the show gets a little dense again around episode 317, 318 and 319, so he's working to get it back to the characters. From Ausiello [Fuller had left after the first season to work on Pushing Daisies]
2/8/09: John Glover has been cast as Sylar's dad and "when Sylar meets his father, he's going to see a path ahead of him that he doesn't want to take. He has a lot more in common with his father than he realized." From EW.com

2/8/09: Mohinder will find it to be an "up-hill battle" to remove his powers during this volume. From TV Guide
2/8/09: Elle is dead and her death is "permanent." From Ausiello [The only thing permanent about this show is that nothing is permanent.]
2/8/09: Dan Byrd's character is named Luke (not David as we reported below) and his "power is microwaves that are strong enough fry people. Luke goes on the road with Sylar seeking adventure and excitement," From Kristin
2/8/09: Moira Kelly has been cast as Homeland Security Agent Abby Collins and will appear in at least one episode. From Kristin
11/22/08: Puppeteer Eric Doyle is slated for at least one appearance during Volume 4. From Behind the Eclipse Week 7 CBR Article
11/15/08: Justin Baldoni has been cast as Alex, "a Southern California surfer dude who works at a comic book store." The character is set to appear in a minimum of two episodes. From Ausiello
11/15/08: Executive Producer Tim Kring indicated that "someone you have come to know will not make it to the end of the season." From Watching Heroes [Unconfirmed rumor is that it could be a fan favorite such as Hiro, although we think Mohinder is a good candidate because of how his character has been totally undermined and all but dead-ended so far this season.]
11/15/08: Sylar will have to face characters that he's tormented previously. From Behind the Eclipse Week 6 CBR Article
11/15/08: Molly and Micah do not appear in the remainder of Volume 3 and nor at least the early part of Volume 4. From Kristin
11/15/08: Matt Parkman will take a dark turn in Volume 4 for a reason. From Greg Grunberg Interview [If he turned dark just because then it would be another "jump the shark" moment for the show, but we're guessing that it involves Daphne.]
10/29/08: Dan Byrd has been cast as David, "a dark and twisted kid who tells lies easily and has a cruel streak. He's teenage angst incarnate" for a minimum of three appearances. From EW.com
10/29/08: All the Heroes will be on the run in Volume Four from "one looming power." From Greg Grunberg Interview [The Hunter?]
10/29/08: The "Tommy Lee Jones-type" character is being referred to as the Hunter. Zeljko Ivanek has been cast in the role and is set to appear in ten episodes in Volume Four starting in episode 314. From Kristin [Since the season is set to be twenty-five episodes, this news would seem to indicate that the Hunter won't appear in two episodes of Volume Four.]
10/29/08: Maya will die this season. From Kristin
10/24/08: Elle will appear in thirteen episodes and will get a backstory through flashbacks which ties her to several familiar characters From SciFi Wire

10/17/08: Usutu (the African painter of the future) is set to appear in a nine-episode arc From The Hollywood Reporter Article
10/14/08: Bob's dead and the prospect of him appearing in any flashbacks or alternate realities any time soon are pretty slim since the actor (Stephen Tobolowski) broke his neck during the hiatus and was virtually immobile for the scenes he did film. From Kristin [Too bad. Bob was our favorite new character from season two. Yes, even more so than Elle and Caitlin because we didn't see enough of Caitlin and Elle was poorly utilitized.]
10/14/08: Nathan's estranged wife as well as his children will appear at some point. From Behind the Eclipse Week 1 CBR Article [We hope so since the way they were written out of season two was one of the biggest missteps in our opinion.]
10/14/08: Updates on some season two regulars: Caitlin will remain lost in the future during season three. West (Claire's boyfriend) will not appear. Monica had some scenes, but they were cut and will turn up as deleted scenes on the DVD. Molly will return for a couple of "unique" appearances. From Behind the Eclipse Week 1 CBR Article
10/14/08: The season is set to be twenty-five episodes with Volume 3 lasting thirteen episodes and Volume 4 covering the remaining episodes. From Behind the Eclipse Week 1 CBR Article
