As the title spells out, this book is an encyclopedia of information about people,
places, documents and events relating to the American Revolution. As expected
more prominant items have longer entries, but nothing more than 3 or 4 pages
long. Even so, there is plenty of hard-to-find material in this reference material.
It is an excellent reference book for basic information on much of the American
Revolution. The extensive bibliography and sources lists also serve as an excellent
blueprint for further research on many topics related to the American Revolution.
