Josephine Marcus is an actress who arrives in Tombstone shortly after the Earps.
She almost immediately sets her sights on Wyatt
Earp. In spite Wyatt's efforts to be as 'strong as an oak', they flirt
and even end up on a horseback ride. Wyatt's partner, Mattie takes notice which
in combination with her laudinum addiction, drives Mattie and Wyatt apart. Eventually,
in his rage over his younger brother Morgan's
murder, he drives Josephine away and she leaves Tombstone. Following Doc
Holliday's death, Wyatt seeks her out in Denver, Colorado and they reunite.
