Premise:
A pair of opposite-thinking brothers run a private detective agency in sunny San Diego.
Characters:
- Rick Simon was the 'country' brother who liked big trucks, guns and dresses like he was always about to go hunting.
- A.J. Simon was the 'city' brother who liked sports cars, fine wine, fine food and playing tennis at the country club.
- Cecilia Simon was the matriarch of the family.
- Downtown Brown was a police detective that often worked with the Simons, both officially and unofficially.

Comments:
It was good fun and the chemistry between the oil and water brothers, Rick and A.J. carried the show. The show spent years airing after Magnum P.I. and even had a crossover episode where the brother ended up in Hawaii.
