He is a man of peace in a violent land. He is Kwai Chang Caine, schooled in the spirit-mind-body ways of the Shaolin priesthood by the blind avuncular Master Po and the stern, yet loving, Master Kan. Caine speaks softly but he hits hard. He lives humbly, yet knows great contentment. He is the Old West's most unusual hero.
From Warner Home Video:
Kwai Chang Caine first journeyed into our living rooms on October 14, 1972, and from there, the series grew in popularity to heroic proportions. Certainly, much credit for the show's three-year run goes to the remarkable cast whose characters managed to endure a bevy of obstacles ranging from physical battles to the endearing lessons of life. Featured performances were made by David Carradine, Keye Luke (Master Po), Philip Ahn (Master Kan) and Ramades Pera (Young Caine), who all helped make this series compelling to viewers week after week and garnered multiple Emmy Award awards and Golden Globe nominations.
