Celeborn In The Fellowship of the Ring:
When The Fellowship arrives at Caras Galadon in Lothlórien, they are welcomed by Celeborn and Galadriel, Lord and Lady of the Wood. Celeborn asks about why Gandalf is not with them. Galadriel answers that he has 'fallen into shadow'. At this news, Celeborn expresses his regret in allowing them entrance into his realm. Galadriel calms him and Aragorn then gives a full account of Gandalf's fall at Moria. When The Fellowship departs from Lothlórien, Celeborn wishes them well.
