Caras Galadon:
- Appears in The Fellowship of the Ring
Caras Galadon is a beautiful city of trees located in the heart of Lothlórien. It is the home of Lord Celeborn and Lady Galadriel and where the Mirror of Galadriel is found. The Fellowship is brought here to meet Celeborn and Galadriel who learn of Gandalf's fall in Moria. After a troubling encounter with Galadriel where she seems to probe the deepest thoughts of each of the Fellowhip, the Fellowship is able to rest. Later, while the rest of the Fellowship sleep, Galadriel takes Frodo to the Mirror of Galadriel.
