The Two Towers:
A Black Rider riding a Fell Beast passes over Frodo, Sam and Gollum as they make their way through the Dead Marshes. Gollum is stricken with fear and explains that they cannot be drown, as Sam had thought had happened back at the Ford of Bruinen.
As Gollum leads them to Minas Morgul, the Witchking, Captain of the Nazgûl, rides out leading an army.
After they have been captured by Faramir and brought to Osgiliath, Frodo is about to hand the One Ring over to a Black Rider before Sam knocks him down. Faramir wounds the winged beast, driving the Black Rider off.
