Eko carries Emma out of the water after Zack begged him to get her. She wasn't breathing, so Ana Lucia administered CPR and eventually revived her. Emma asked for her mother who she said was supposed to meet them in Los Angeles. Ana Lucia promises to get them to their mother. On the twelfth night, the Others take nine of the survivors, including Emma and her brother. Goodwin later claims that she and her brother are safe and are actually better off.
