Eko carries Zack from the water after the crash. Zack begs him to save his sister, Emma. When Eko brings Emma out of the water, she's not breathing. Zack brings her a teddy bear before Eko leads him away. Ana Lucia is able to revive her. On the twelfth night, Zack and Emma along with seven others are taken. Goodwin later says that the children are safe and are actually better off.
