Statement on the Terrorist Attacks
September 11, 2001
The Government of the Republic of Yemen is following with deep concern and sorrow the tragic incident resulting from the terrorist strikes and the unlawful attacks targeted to government buildings and monumental landmarks within the US.

The Leadership, Government, and People of the Republic of Yemen condemn and oppose strongly such vicious and terrorist acts, and send their deepest sympathy and condolences to the Honorable President Bush, the American people and the families who have lost their loved ones to this tragedy.

The Government of Yemen would like to reemphasize it's condemnation to all forms of cowardly and ruthless terrorist activities by those responsible whomever they maybe.
