Episode Name: Sometimes a Great Notion Episode Number: 411 Written by: David Weddle & Bradley Thompson Directed by: Michael Nankin Original Air Date: 1/16/09 on SciFi Channel
Notes:
39,650 survivors by the end of the episode. That is down fifteen since the previous episode and includes the loss of Dee. The number of survivors was not reported at the beginning of the episode.
Like the boxing of the Threes previously, D'Anna's decision to remain on Earth is a way of removing the character without killing her off. It leaves the possibility of the character returning.
Flashbacks: #1:
Tyrol, wearing glasses, walks around a city market. Suddenly, there is a flash and Tyrol instinctively puts his hand up in front of his eyes.
#2:
Tigh runs through a building as Ellen calls him. He finds Ellen partly buried under debris. He struggles to get her out as more bombs explode. She reassures him that it'll be alright because they'll be reborn again together. He smiles and then the room explodes.
