Episode 1: The Beginning of the End; A "Hurley" Episode; January 31, 2008

9/23/07: Jorge Garcia (Hurley) and Lance Reddick (Arthur Stevens) were seen filming at the location that had been used as the mental hospital. From The Transmission
9/23/07: Sawyer, Sayid, Jin, Hurley, Desmond and Juliet are at the beach camp in what is either a scene from this episode or the season premier. From Tallahassee Democrat [This means that Desmond has made it back from the underwater hatch and Juliet has come back from the radio tower.]

9/4/07: L. Scott Caldwell (Rose) and Mira Furlan (Danielle) were spotted in Hawaii on Labor Day Weekend. [We're not sure if that means that they appear in 401 or 402 or both.]
9/4/07: Location shooting was reported to have cars with California plates. [This makes us think that this is a flashforward since we know the season 3 finale had Jack, Kate and "him" in Los Angeles]

8/24/07: Josh Holloway (Sawyer) was seen in Honolulu filming. The scene also involved a car chase with two police cars pursuing another car, with that car crashing. From DarkUFO
8/24/07: Casting info for Russell: Late 30s, a brilliant mathematician and deep thinker who is capable of great insights and has a tremendous knowledge across various scientific fields. He sometimes struggles socially by being too direct and disconnected in his interpersonal relationships. 8/23/07: A new, likely recurring, character is Arthur Stevens, a ruthless corporate recruiter between his 40's and 60's. "He may smile and his words may sound soothing," reads the casting notice, "but their effect can send chills up your spine." He is set to appear in the first two episodes of the season.
