Sauron In The Two Towers:
Sauron sends out the Nazgûl on Winged Beasts to continue searching for the One Ring. Meanwhile, he builds up his own forces around Barad-dûr. He also searches for the Ring using his Eye.
Since Sauron recognizes the race of Men is the greatest threat to his power, he encourages Saruman to attack Rohan.
Forces of Easterlings are seen by Frodo and Sam entering the Black Gate of Mordor.
A force of Haradrim also marching for Mordor are ambushed by Faramir and his Rangers of Ithilien.
Meanwhile, Sauron has forces besieging Osgiliath.
