The doctor's words echo as Roslin dips her toes in a city fountain.

A pasty-looking Roslin is wheeled down the corridor with Billy and other aids beside her.

Roslin sits by a Caprica City fountain. Naylin Stans introduces himself as from the Education Alliance. He says that he was surprised to receive a message from her and she says that the President was surprised that she sent it. He says that they thought they were a lost cause after their chief negotiator had been clubbed in the head. Roslin says that she was once a teacher and that giving up is the way to lose causes. She notices Baltar meet with Number Six.
[Back to the Present]
Roslin arrives in sick bay. She is transferred to a bed. Cottle tries to talk to her, but she doesn't respond. Billy takes her hand.
