Act 1:
Tyrol reports that the Cylons on the baseships figure it's better to stay with the fleet then run into Cavil on their own. Tigh questions Tyrol using the word "we." Adama then asks about the drives. Tyrol says it'll be difficult, but that all the ships can be upgraded. Tigh, Adama, Helo, Lee and Gaeta are present at the briefing. Lee says that the first question that the Quorum will want to know if it will just be Galactica personnel that will perform the installs. Tyrol says that he doesn't quite understand the tech himself so teams of Eights and Sixes will have to help with the installs. Tyrol keeps flip-flopping between referring to himself as a Cylon and saying 'we' and 'they'. Tigh catches it and wonders if Tyrol needs a "map" to keep it straight. Gaeta wants the "former chief" to tell them "what the catch is." Tyrol says that the Cylons want to be a full-fledged part of the fleet with a seat at the Quorum and everything. Tigh is the first to object. Adama wants to know why the Cylons believe it's possible. Tyrol says that he convinced them that Adama takes "The Oath" very seriously and would rather lose the fleet rather than break it. Tigh chimes in and says, "Unlike some people." Tyrol swallows the comment. Adama says that he understands the logic of the request. Gaeta is surprised that Adama is even considering such a thing. Adama says that it's a political decision and that he'll have to run it by the President. Adama adjourns the meeting and Lee wants a word with him.

Cottle tells Tyrol that Nicky has "acute renal failure," but that they can treat it with dialysis. Tyrol wants to know what he needs to do starting with giving blood. Ishay says that they have enough blood. Tyrol wonders if they have half-human, half-Cylon blood. Cottle tries to shush Ishay, but she says Nicky could die and his father should know.

Cottle takes Tyrol aside and says that he was bound by doctor-patient confidentiality even "though she's dead." Tyrol pieces it together that he's not Nicky's father. Cally found out that she was pregnant just before she married Tyrol. She considered an abortion but then decided to keep the baby. She wasn't sure who the father was, so she later had a paternity test. Tyrol wants to know who is. Cottle says that the father doesn't know yet and that he'll tell him then the father and Tyrol can work it out. Tyrol looks over at Ishay and Nicky, tells Cottle, "take care of him" and then leaves.

Lee tells Adama that Roslin stopped returning his calls. Adama says that "she's going through a rough patch" and she needs some time. Lee says that they'll need to know her stance on "this citizenship thing soon." Adama says that he'll take care of it. Adama picks up the wireless and dials.

In her quarters, Roslin listens to the phone ring as she takes out her pills. She doesn't answer the wireless. After a moment, she pushes the pills into the trash. Then she throws the pill bottles in as well. She then stands there and drinks water [to further flush her system of the medication].
