Baltar's Inner Six makes her first appearance since Episode 404 ("Escape Velocity"). However, scenes were filmed in which Inner Six returned in Episode 412 ("Sometimes a Great Notion") during Hot and Tyrol's brawl, but they were presumably cut for time.
Tyrol's ordering gin at the bar is probably a nod to Executive Producer Ron Moore who favors gin and typically drinks it while recording the episode podcast commentaries.

Will Ellen learn anything from the child's death? Or will she continue to create chaos in her wake?
Was Tigh and Caprica Six's child self aware? Or did Caprica's body begin to terminate the pregnancy?
