Gilraen's Grave:

Gilraen was Aragorn's mother. Following his father's death, she brought Aragorn to Rivendell for his protection. Elrond became his surrogate father.
Just before the Fellowship's departure from Rivendell, Aragorn takes a quiet moment at his mother's grave. Elrond arrives and tells Aragorn that it is time for him to fulfill his birthright. In contrast to other sequences where Elrond is cold, he is quietly encouraging and much more fatherly in this sequence.
