The Lord of the Rings Middle Earth Places: Gladden Fields
Gladden Fields:
- Appears in The Fellowship of the Ring
The Gladden Fields is the site where a band of Orcs ambushed
Isildur. He
attempted to escape by slipping on the Ring and swimming away in the river.
However, the Ring betrayed him and slipped off of his finger, after which the
Orcs were able to see him and slew him.
