The Lord of the Rings Middle Earth Places: Dwarrowdelf
Dwarrowdelf:
- Appears in The Fellowship of the Ring
Dwarrowdelf is the ancient Dwarven city of Moria. Dwarrowdelf is characterized by the huge columns that the Dwarves fashioned out of the mountain. It is here that the Fellowship appeared to be doomed when they are surrounded by Orcs, but the Orcs scatter with the approach of some great evil. The Fellowship then race through Dwarrowdelf in an effort to cross the Bridge of Khazad-dûm and get out of Moria.
