The Lord of the Rings Middle Earth Places: Plains of Rohan
Plains of Rohan:
- Appears in The Two Towers
While tracking the Uruk-hai who have Merry and Pippin, Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas cross the Plains of Rohan. While on the Plains, they encounter Éomer and his force of Rohirrim. Éomer tells them that they had wiped out the Uruk-hai force at their Camp near Fangorn Forest. He gives them two horses whose riders were killed during the attack on the Uruk-hai.
Later, Gandalf, Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas ride back across the plains from Fangorn Forest to Edoras to warn King Théoden of Saruman's alliance with Sauron and his aggression against Rohan.
