Bag End:
- Appears in The Fellowship of the Ring
Bag End is located at the end of Bagshot Row in Hobbiton in West Farthing in The Shire. It is the home of Bilbo Baggins. After celebrating his eleventy-first (111th) birthday, Bilbo leaves The Shire, giving Bag End to his nephew, Frodo Baggins. Distant relatives, the Sackville-Bagginses have been after Bag End for years, but Bilbo has lived to a ripe old age and now thwarted their plans by naming Frodo to be his heir. Frodo himself soon leaves Bag End on a trip out of the Shire.
